Beaver Rehabilitation ~ Trahant Reports ~ Broadband Internet ~ Love Without Limits

Monday, August 27 – Environmental journalist Ben Goldfarb has written“Eager, the Surprising Secret Life of Beavers, and Why They Matter.” The reviews have been off the charts: “engrossing, enthralling, engaging … a super-fantastic read … amusing and informative … a page-turner. Highly recommend.”  ~~~ Mark Trahant is the editor of Indian Country Today. He shares a commentary on the passing of Senator John McCain (R-Ariz). ~~~ There’s an effort underway to get the whole country connected to broadband internet. One group says it has a low-cost method. Prairie Public News Director Dave Thompson speaks with Jon Conradi, outreach director for "Connect America Now." ~~~ Dr. Jacqueline Bussie is the director of the Forum on Faith and Life at Concordia College and the author of “Love Without Limits.” The book is now out, following significant delays after the original published dropped the book when she wouldn’t remove chapters with Muslims or same sex couples. We re-air a conversation from August of 2017.
