Monday, May 7 – If you're a foodie, and you don't know the name Sean Sherman, it's time to. He started the collective The Sioux Chef. Members of the collective on a mission to revitalize traditional indigenous food, and their new cookbook – The Sioux Chef's Indigenous Kitchen – just won the James Beard Award for American cookbooks. It’s one of our thank you gifts during our membership drive. Today we share an encore presentation of the conversation we had with him last December. ~~~ Speaking of food, Sue Balcom takes a break from her small family farm near Mandan to discuss adding nutrition to meals using micro greens, whether you grow your own, or find them at your local store.
