"The War on Science" ~ Old Time Country Music with Bob Everhart

We visit with Minnesota author Shawn Otto about his intriguing new book, “The War on Science; Who’s Waging It, Why it Matters, What We Can Do About It.” ~~~ Energy production in the state produces a trail of waste, some of which is radioactive. Across the country there are a patchwork of local laws and regulations that govern the dumping of waste. Our story today comes from the Ohio River valley and the Marcellus shale gas region where producers struggle to find appropriate disposal.
