Williston State College reducing housing rates for Frontier Hall

Williston State College

Williston State College has reduced housing rates for its Frontier Hall residence.

The price per semester, for double occupancy, will be $2000. WSC is also providing $1000 per semester housing scholarships.

Williston State’s director of residence life, Kit Hernandez, said this is being done to help the college remain competitive.

"If students aren't going to be attending due to housing costs, we want to lower that barrier, and make sure they're getting to us," Hernandez said.

Frontier Hall was built in 2011. It can house up to 170 students in four-bedroom suites. It has wireless Internet, cable television and on-site laundry facilities.

"It's great for meeting people and making those connections right off the bat," Hernandez said. "Our aim is to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience, extending that further than the classroom and into their day-to-day lives."

Housing applications are available at the Website www.willistonstate.edu/housing.
