1 death, 147 new coronavirus cases
The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,479.
Details about the patient will be released Monday.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 142 new individuals from 27 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 105,696.
These results were from a pool of 4,133 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.67 percent.
70 of those positives were PCR tests, and 72 were antigen tests.
The cases broken down by county are:
1,873,596 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 424,719 unique individuals have been tested.
35 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 136 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 103,044. This leaves 1,173 active confirmed cases.
