ND COVID-19: 15 deaths confirmed, 858 new cases

The death toll has risen to 1,892.

The state health department has confirmed fifteen more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,892.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 858 individuals from 46 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 162,294.

These results were from a pool of 8,785 tests for a daily positive rate of 10.82 percent.

296 of those positives were PCR tests, and 562 were antigen tests.

2,878,065 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 544,636 unique individuals have been tested.

171 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 452 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 157,483. This leaves 2,919 active confirmed cases.
