ND COVID-19: four more deaths, 1,363 new cases as active infections climb

North Dakota's death toll is now 2,027.

The state health department has confirmed four more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,027.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,363 individuals from 46 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 179,162.

These results were from a pool of 9,523 tests for a daily positive rate of 15.41 percent.

657 of those positives were PCR tests, and 706 were antigen tests.

3,111,663 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 568,855 unique individuals have been tested.

115 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 596 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 173,413. This leaves 3,721 active confirmed cases.
