The state health department has confirmed five more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,034.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,610 individuals from 48 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 184,613.
These results were from a pool of 12,018 tests for a daily positive rate of 14.92 percent.
522 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,088 were antigen tests.
3,151,399 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 572,595 unique individuals have been tested.
115 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 911 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 178,033. This leaves 4,546 active confirmed cases.
