ND COVID-19: 2,255 new cases, one additional death

There are currently 9,770 active cases statewide.

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,047.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 2,255 individuals from 52 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 194,478.

These results were from a pool of 12,227 tests for a daily positive rate of 20.31 percent.

1,238 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,017 were antigen tests.

3,210,899 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 582,020 unique individuals have been tested.

140 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 1,047 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 182,261. This leaves 9,770 active confirmed cases.
