ND COVID-19: 9 deaths, 3,131 new cases confirmed

Today's test positivity rate is 19.8 percent.

The state health department has confirmed nine more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,056.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 3,131 individuals from 52 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 202,333.

These results were from a pool of 17,237 tests for a daily positive rate of 19.8 percent.

1,231 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,900 were antigen tests.

3,251,212 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 587,987 unique individuals have been tested.

157 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 2,293 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 191,940. This leaves 8,337 active confirmed cases.
