State health department confirms 205 more COVID-19 cases

Active cases have fallen in recent weeks.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 205 individuals from 29 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 234,875.

These results were from a pool of 1,768 tests for a daily positive rate of 12.36 percent.

130 of those positives were PCR tests, and 75 were antigen tests.

3,478,345 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 612,405 unique individuals have been tested.

120 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 737 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 229,625. This leaves 3,096 active confirmed cases.
