North Dakota’s confirmed COVID-19 cases have decreased again this week.
The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services confirmed 981 cases of COVID-19 in the last seven days. According to the department’s coronavirus dashboard, this amounts to roughly 140 new cases statewide per day. The dashboard lists North Dakota’s current case rate per 100,000 people as 129.
278 new cases were reported from Cass County, 116 from Burleigh County and 103 from Grand Forks County.
In the last seven days, 60 patients were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19. Statewide, 55 inpatient beds and nine ICU beds are currently occupied with COVID patients.
