Thursday, January 15 – The city of Fargo is a semifinalist in the Georgetown Energy Prize competition. Here to tell us about the city’s GO2030 Comprehensive Plan is commissioner Mike Williams and planner Dan Mahli. ~~~ Bruce Berg thinks we ought to save the traveling for summer, and stick close to home at Christmas time. His essay is called “Christmas Might Be Merrier.” ~~~ When you think of oil and gas towns, most people visualize a lot of transient workers, increased crime, and RV parks. But plenty of oilfield workers do move to town with their families.
