Brian Petersen, Author of "Vanish" ~ Cemetery Walk ~ Author Matt Valan

Tuesday, October 30 – During the dam-building heyday of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, entire communities were inundated by the rising waters of the Missouri River. Being from New Town, author Brian Petersen know the story first hand. His novel “Vanish” is set in New Town. It’s a rough-and-tumble story of romance, danger, and violence in contemporary North Dakota against the backdrop of the oil boom. ~~~ We share a feature on a cemetery walk at Eksjo Lutheran Church near Lake Park, sponsored by the Becker County Museum.
