Friday, December 20, 2019 – Bruce Gjovig joins us for a discussion of “innovative Entrepreneurs of North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota.” Bruce co-wrote the book with Dr. Hiram Drache, longtime historian in residence at Concordia College. The book profiles 76 entrepreneurs, from the Dalrymple bonanza farm of the 1870s to technology innovators of today. ~~~ Tom Isern shares a Plains Folk essay, “Football, Flax, and the Far Frontier.” ~~~ News director Dave Thompson is here with our weekly news chat. ~~~ Matt Olien reviews “Pain and Glory.”
