1 death; 122 new COVID-19 cases

A man in his 80s from McIntosh County has passed away with COVID-19. He had underlying health conditions. The statewide coronavirus death toll is now 109.

Additionally 122 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 7,177. These results were from a pool of 5,471 total tests for a daily positive rate of 2.2 percent. 43 of today’s new positives were from serial testing. 1,720 individuals tested were from serial testing.

34 new cases were found in Burleigh County, 18 were from Cass County, and 17 were from Morton County.  Rolette County had ten new cases. Grand Forks County had eight, and Ward County had seven. McLean and Stutsman Counties each had four new cases. Three new cases were found in Williams County. Stark and Walsh Counties each had two new cases. Barnes, Benson, Griggs, Kidder, LaMoure, McHenry, McKenzie, Mountrail, Pembina, Richland, Sioux, Traill and Wells Counties each had one new case apiece.

341,001 total tests have  been administered. 163,719 unique individuals have been tested.

There are currently 46 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 400 total hospitalizations.

There have been 5,949 recoveries. This leaves 1,119 active confirmed cases in the state.
