1 new COVID-19 death; 75 new cases found in ND

One more North Dakotan has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 103.

The patient was a woman in her 80s from Ramsey County. She had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 75 new individuals have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the state, bringing the statewide positive total to 6,301. These results are from a pool of 3,975 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.9 percent.

22 new cases were found in Cass County, and eleven were found in Burleigh County. There were ten new cases in Williams County. Richland County had five new cases, and Benson County had four. There were two new cases in McKenzie, Stark, and Morton Counties. Burke, Mountrail, McLean, Dunn, Sioux, Emmons, Rolette, Ramsey, Cavalier, Nelson, Steele, Griggs, Foster, Grand Forks, Stutsman, Ransom and Sargent Counties each had one new case apiece.

To date, 304,978 tests have been administered for COVID-19. 151,861 unique individuals have been tested.

43 people are currently hospitalized. There have been 356 total hospitalizations.

There have been 5,181 recoveries. This leaves 1,017 active confirmed cases in the state.
