1 new death, 117 new COVID-19 cases in ND

A woman in her 70s with underlying health conditions has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide pandemic death toll to 113. She was from Stutsman County.

Additionally, 117 new individuals from 23 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new positive total to 7,713. These results were from a pool of 4,590 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.5 percent.

47 of the new positives were from individuals undergoing serial testing.

There were 30 new cases found in Burleigh County, 16 in Morton County, 12 in Ward County and eleven in McLean County. Cass and McIntosh Counties each had seven new cases. There were six new cases found in Grand Forks County, five in Mountrail County and four in Kidder County. There were three new cases found in Stark County. Barnes, Bowman, and Williams Counties each had two new cases. Adams, Benson, Foster, Golden Valley, McHenry, McKenzie, Nelson, Ramsey, Rolette, and Sheridan Counties each had one new case apiece.

To date, 362,730 tests have been administered for COVID-19. 169,839 unique individuals have been tested.

There are 48 individuals currently hospitalized. There have been 417 total hospitalizations.

There have been 6,434 recoveries. This leaves 1,166 active confirmed cases.
