105 new COVID-19 cases; three more deaths

The state health department has confirmed three more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,422.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

105 new individuals from 21 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 97,562.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,035 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.54 percent.

 

63 of those positives were PCR tests, and 42 were antigen tests.

 

1,521,642 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 393,792 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

48 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 132 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 95,108. This leaves 1,032 active confirmed cases.
