The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,460.
The patient was a man in his 80s from Nelson County.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 119 new individuals from 20 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 101,514.
These results were from a pool of 4,673 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.57 percent.
56 of those positives were PCR tests, and 63 were antigen tests.

1,745,994 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 410,683 unique individuals have been tested.
13 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 97 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 99,267. This leaves 787 active confirmed cases.
