175 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed; 1 more death recorded

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,492.

 

The patient was a woman in her 70s from Cass County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 175 new individuals from 29 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 107,473.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,978 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.18 percent.

 

100 of those positives were PCR tests, and 75 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,927,858 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 430,352 unique individuals have been tested.

 

35 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 147 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 104,877. This leaves 1,104 active confirmed cases.
