2 new COVID-19 deaths, 188 new cases found

Two more individuals have passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide death toll to 130.

The patients were a woman in her 70s from McLean County and a woman in her 90s from Grand Forks County. They both had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 188 new individuals from 27 counties have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 8,968. These results were from a pool of 4,862 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.87 percent.

Burleigh County had the highest number of new cases, with 42. Cass County followed with 36 new cases, Grand Forks County with 21 Cases, and 20 cases in Ward County. There were 16 new cases found in Stark County, and eleven in Morton County. Walsh and Williams Counties each had six new cases. Bowman, McLean, and Rolette Counties each had three new cases. Pierce, Ransom, Richland, Sioux and Wells Counties each had two new cases. Adams, Barnes, Benson, Bottineau, Burke, Dunn, Griggs, Kidder, McHenry, McIntosh and Stutsman Counties each had one new case apiece.

There have been 406,733 total tests administered for COVID-19. 182,526 unique individuals have been tested.

49 people are currently hospitalized.

There have been 7,629 recoveries. This leaves 1,209 active confirmed cases.
