Two more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 141.
The patients were a man in his 50s from Benson County and a woman in her 80s from Burleigh County. They both had underlying health conditions.
Additionally, 375 new individuals from 32 counties have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus – yet another single day high record. These results are from a pool of 7,898 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.75 percent.
To date, 11,484 individuals have tested positive since the pandemic began.
Grand Forks County is reporting the most new cases today, with 146. Cass County had 39 new cases, Williams County had 32, Burleigh County had 26, and Barnes County had 20. There were 15 cases found in both Morton and Stutsman Counties. McLean and Ward Counties both had eleven. Stark County had nine, and Rolette County had eight. There were five new cases found in Golden Valley County, and four in McKenzie County. Hettinger, Mountrail, Ramsey and Walsh Counties each had three new cases. Benson, Dickey, Eddy, Foster, Griggs, Kidder, and McHenry Counties each had two new cases. Bottineau, Dunn, Emmons, Nelson, Pembina, Pierce, Richland and Towner Counties each had one new case apiece.
465,649 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 199,747 unique individuals have been tested.
There have been 9,018 recoveries. This leaves 2,325 active confirmed cases.
