72 new cases of COVID-19 in ND

72 new individuals from fifteen North Dakota counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide total to 4,565.

The results were from a pool of 3,093 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.3 percent.

There were 19 new cases detected in Cass County, and 15 cases found in Mountrail County. Burleigh County had nine new cases, Williams County had seven, and Walsh County had five. McKenzie and Stark Counties each had four new cases, and two new cases were found in Ward County. Grand Forks, Hettinger, Kidder, Morton, Ramsey, Sioux and Wells Counties each had one new case apiece.

A total number of 238,586 tests have been completed for the novel coronavirus. 126,564 of those tests were administered to unique individuals.

42 individuals are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 284 total hospitalizations.

There have been 3,760 recoveries and 88 deaths. This leaves 717 active confirmed cases in the state.
