75 new COVID-19 cases; 2 more deaths

The state health department is reporting two more deaths attributed to COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 19.

The patients were both men in their 80s with underlying health conditions. They were also both from Cass County.

75 new positive cases of the novel coronavirus have also been recorded in North Dakota, for a new statewide total of 942. 34 of those cases were from Cass County, 36 were from Grand Forks County, one each were from Mountrail and Ramsey Counties, and three more were from Walsh County.

To date, 22,434 tests for COVID-19 have been administered in the state. 1,987 were from yesterday.

Six additional people have been hospitalized, bringing the hospitalization total to 77. 23 people are currently hospitalized.

There have been 350 recoveries. There are currently 573 active confirmed cases.
