77th COVID-19 death; 37 new cases

Another individual has passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 77.

 

The patient was a man in his 60s from Stutsman County. He had underlying health conditions.

 

37 new individuals have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The results are from a pool of 3,933 tests for a daily positive rate of 0.9 percent.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

  • Barnes County - 2
  • Burleigh County - 6
  • Cass County – 20
  • Griggs County – 1
  • LaMoure County - 1
  • Ransom County – 2
  • Rolette County – 1
  • Stark County – 1
  • Stutsman County – 2
  • Ward County - 1

 

3,288 individuals have tested positive overall.

 

The state health department has administered 155,976 tests for COVID-19, with 96,173 unique individuals tested.

 

There are currently 31 people hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 216 total hospitalizations.

 

There have been 2,910 recoveries. This leaves 301 active confirmed cases in North Dakota.
