88th COVID-19 death; 55 new cases

A woman in her 80s from Cass County has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide pandemic death toll to 88. She had underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 55 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 4,493.

 

The results were from a pool of 2,427 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.3 percent.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

  • Bottineau County – 2
  • Burleigh County - 7
  • Cass County – 11
  • Cavalier County – 1
  • Dunn County – 1
  • Emmons County – 1
  • Golden Valley County - 1
  • Grand Forks County – 3
  • McKenzie County – 1
  • McLean County - 1
  • Morton County – 4
  • Mountrail County – 3
  • Pembina County – 1
  • Sioux County - 1
  • Stutsman County – 1
  • Walsh County – 1
  • Williams County - 15

 

To date, 235,497 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 125,033 tests have been on unique individuals.

 

42 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 280 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 3,685 recoveries. This leaves 720 active confirmed cases.
