American Jazz and WWI ~ Prebiotic Snacks Created in North Dakota

We'll learn how the War helped spread jazz to the rest of the world as we visit with Bill Law, assistant director of NDSU’s Division of Performing Arts. He’ll be presenting on the topic tomorrow night at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead. ~~~ In a story from yesterday’s Weekend Edition Sunday from NPR, Buddy Holly is remembered 40 years after his death in a plane crash on his way to Moorhead, Minnesota. ~~~ Scientific research has begun to discover some of the remarkable health benefits of prebiotic fibers. A North Dakota business in Walhalla called Food First is developing healthy snacks that cultivate good gut health. Here to explain are Bob and Jordan Thornberg.
