Two more North Dakotans have passed away due to COVID-19, with 40 more individuals testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
The new statewide death toll is 35.
The patients were both men from Cass County, one in his 90s and the other in his 40s. Each patient had underlying health conditions.
30 of today’s positive test results came from Cass County. The cases broken down by county include:
- Cass County – 30
- Grand Forks County – 2
- McHenry County – 1
- Ramsey County – 2
- Ransom County – 1
- Rolette County – 1
- Stark County – 1
- Stutsman County – 1
- Ward County - 1
1,464 people were tested yesterday. 43,933 people have been tested overall.
There have been 110 total hospitalizations due to COVID-19. 34 people remain hospitalized.
There have been 762 recoveries.
