Wednesday, February 6, 2019 - Meet Dr. Gatluak Thach, founder, president and CEO of the Nashville Center for Empowerment, an organization working to help refugees and immigrants succeed in their new surroundings. Dr. Thach will be the keynote speaker at an event tomorrow in Fargo. ~~~ “The Banker and the Blackfoot” looks at an interesting time in frontier settlement along the US-Canadian border. Author J. Edward Chamberlin joins us with the story of two friends in the late 1800s who sought a commonwealth that could accommodate both Blackfoot sovereignty and new settlement.
