Tuesday, January 28, 2020 – Crime victims who may not have qualified for mental health assistance in the past might now get help thanks to a grant through the Victims of Crime Act. And as Harvest Public Media’s Christina Stella reports, some still don’t know how they’ll afford to protect themselves from more damages this year. ~~~ What happens to animals at the pound if no one comes for them? Sometimes they're euthanized. Sometimes they're transferred. Cats Cradle is a no-kill shelter that takes in hundreds of cats a year that the pound can no longer handle. From this week's Prairie Pulse, Host John Harris visits with Jill Frederick, one of the founders.
