minotstateu.edu

Wednesday, June 12, 2019 – Minot State University will offer a third option in its chemistry major in the fall. The Medicinal Plant chemistry option will involve extraction, purification, and analysis of compounds from plants, prompted in part by the growing interest in cannabis as a source of new medicines. Joining us is Professor Christopher Heth. ~~~ The 29th annual Missouri River Bluegrass festival is coming up on June 14th and 15th at Cross Ranch State Park outside of Washburn. Here to tell us more is Jill Weise of the Cotton Wood band, which will also be performing. ~~~ Capital Pride is coming up this weekend in Bismarck. To acknowledge the occasion we have another episode of the Breaking Barriers podcast as Lynn Runck is interviewed by Jan Titus.
