Wednesday, November 13, 2019 – A Moth Mainstage event takes place Thursday night at the Fargo Theatre. Here with an update is Chloe Salmon, producer and director for tomorrow’s event. ~~~ On November 17th, the Lake Agassiz Concert Band will premiere the 9th and final symphony of James Barnes, one of 25 participating musical groups with exclusive performing rights. To make this event even more special, composer Barnes will be on hand to guest conduct the piece. Here to tell us about this intriguing project is Monte Grise, Lake Agassiz Concert Band's Creative Director. ~~~ “Neither Wolf Nor Dog” is a small, self-distributed, independent film, which came out in 2017. It’s coming back for a screening as part of Native American Heritage Month events at Minot State. Today we share a conversation from last March with filmmaker Steven Lewis Simpson. ~~~ Prairie Public is one of six media outlets selected to help develop rural resources for the Molly of Denali television show.
