ND COVID-19: 1 death, 168 new cases

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,475.

 

The patient was a woman in her 90s from Stark County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 168 new individuals from 27 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 105,380.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,952 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.02 percent.

 

74 of those positives were PCR tests, and 94 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,862,981 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 423,476 unique individuals have been tested.

 

31 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 142 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 102,731. This leaves 1,174 active confirmed cases.
