ND COVID-19; 1 new death, 60 new cases

A woman in her 60s with underlying health conditions has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 126. She was from Burleigh County.

Additionally, 60 new individuals from 15 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 8,647. These results were from a pool of 2,703 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.2 percent.

Burleigh County had 20 new cases, Grand Forks County had ten, Cass County had seven and Benson and Stark Counties each had five. Morton County had three new cases, and Ramsey County had two. Barnes, Foster, Hettinger, Kidder, McKenzie, Towner, Ward and Williams Counties each had one new case apiece.

A total of 400,001 tests have been administered for COVID-19. 180,419 unique individuals have been tested.

There are currently 55 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 461 total hospitalizations.

There have been 7,343 recoveries. This leaves 1,178 active confirmed cases.
