ND COVID-19: 1 new death, 90 more cases

One more individual has passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 52.

The patient was a man in his 80s from Cass County. He had underlying health conditions.

Nine counties are reporting new cases of the novel coronavirus today. Out of a pool of 2,477 tests, 90 people tested positive. 74 new cases were from Cass County. There were six new cases in Eddy County, three in Williams County and two in Burleigh County. Emmons, Grand Forks, Griggs, Richland and Ward Counties each had one new case.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 2,317 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state.

There are currently 39 individuals hospitalized. 147 people have been hospitalized overall.

There have been 1,405 recoveries. This leaves 860 active confirmed cases.
