ND COVID-19: 2 more deaths, 90 new cases

Two more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 87.

 

The patients were women in their 90s with underlying health conditions. They were both from Cass County.

 

Additionally, 90 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 4,243.

 

The results were from a pool of 4,327 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.1 percent.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

  • Barnes County – 1
  • Benson County – 3
  • Burke County – 1
  • Burleigh County - 16
  • Cass County – 32
  • Cavalier County – 1
  • Dunn County – 4
  • Grand Forks County – 9
  • McHenry County – 3
  • McIntosh County – 1
  • McKenzie County – 1
  • Mercer County – 1
  • Morton County – 3
  • Mountrail County – 2
  • Pierce County – 1
  • Richland County – 2
  • Rolette County – 1
  • Sioux County – 3
  • Stark County – 3
  • Towner County – 1
  • Traill County – 2
  • Walsh County – 2
  • Ward County – 3
  • Wells County – 1
  • Williams County - 3

 
To date, 224,050 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 120,851 tests have been on unique individuals.

 

31 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 263 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 3,533 recoveries. This leaves 623 active confirmed cases.
