ND Health Dept: 4 more COVID-19 deaths, 22 new cases

Four more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 65.

 

All the patients were from Cass County and had underlying health conditions. They include a woman in her 60s, a woman in her 90s, a woman in her 80s and a man in his 90s.

 

Additionally 22 new cases of the novel coronavirus were detected in five North Dakota counties. 18 of the new cases were in Cass County. Burleigh, Dickey, Mountraill and Ward Counties each had one new case. 

 

The positives were from a pool of 1,611 tests for a positive rate of 1.4 percent.

 

A total of 2,646 individuals have tested positive overall.

 

98,717 total tests have been administered, with 73,644 being done on unique individuals.

 

To date there have been 170 hospitalizations, with 34 individuals currently under hospitalization with COVID-19.

 

There have been 2,127 recoveries. This leaves 454 active confirmed cases statewide.
