A ninth North Dakotan has passed away from complications of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 in North Dakota.
Governor Doug Burgum says he was notified of the death after this morning's numbers were finalized. The death will be counted in tomorrow's data.
The patient was a man in his 80s from Morton County who contracted the virus via close contact. He had underlying health conditions.
