One more COVID-19 death; daily positive rate below 1%

One more individual has passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 75.

The patient was a man in his 60s from Cass County. He had underlying health conditions.

29 new individuals have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the state, bringing the statewide positive total to 3,193. The positive results were from a pool of 4,193 tests for a positive rate of 0.7 percent.

There were nine new cases in Cass County, six in Grand Forks County, five in Barnes County and three in Sioux County. Stark and Ward Counties each had two new cases. Rolette and Sargent Counties each had one new case.

A total of 144,282 tests have been administered, with 90,654 tests being done on unique individuals.

26 people are currently hospitalized. There have been 208 total hospitalizations.

There have been 2,809 recoveries. This leaves 309 active confirmed cases.
