Pop's Prolific Drummer Dies- March 12, 2019

Hal Blaine, the man driving the beat for the Wrecking Crew, the loose group of studio musicians behind so many of rock and pop's most beloved songs, has passed away at age 90. Brian Wilson and Ringo Starr have tweeted out tributes. The co-founder of Bloodshot Records, Nan Warshaw, has resigned following allegations that her domestic partner, musician Mark Panick sexually harassed labelmate Lydia Loveless.  Idaho indie band Built to Spill is kicking off a massive summer tour in June, that includes Fargo, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Keep It Like a Secret.
