tedxfargo.com

Thursday, August 1, 2019 – TEDX events around the country share stories from innovators, adventurers, environmentalists, and more. We share highlights from the recent TEDxFargo as we hear from mountaineer and polar explorer Lonnie Dupre, and David O'Hara, professor of philosophy, classics, and environmental studies at Augustana University in Sioux Falls. ~~~ Chuck Lura shares a Natural North Dakota essay on Giant Floater Clams. ~~~ Great Britain voted to leave the European Union in 2016 and the three-year search for a deal has been unsuccessful. Augustana University professors Bill Swart and Jason Harris took students to watch history unfold earlier in the year as part of the class "Brexit: The Great Divorce and Life After the European Union." They visit with Lori Walsh of South Dakota Public Broadcasting’s “In The Moment.” ~~~ What’s Happening calendar of events.
