State health department: 1 more death, 27 new COVID-19 cases

One more North Dakotan has passed away from complications of COVID-19, with 27 more individuals testing positive for the novel coronavirus.

 

The patient was a man in his 90s from Cass County. He had underlying health conditions. The statewide death toll is now 36, with 1,518 people testing positive overall.

 

2,145 people were tested yesterday. Of the 27 new positive cases, 16 were from Cass County. Grand Forks and Stutsman Counties each report two new cases. Burleigh, Dunn, Eddy, Grant, Mercer, Morton and Williams Counties each report one new case.

 

In all, 47,014 people have been tested.

 

There are 34 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19; 115 people have been hospitalized in all.

 

There have been 846 recoveries. There are 636 active confirmed cases in North Dakota.
