Two deaths; 99 new COVID-19 cases found

The state health department has confirmed two more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,427.

 

The patients were:

 

·                     Woman in her?80s from Cass County.? 

·                     Woman in her 90s from Ward County.? 

 

Two previously recorded deaths from Cass and Golden Valley Counties were incorrectly reported, and have been removed from the official total. 

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 99 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 98,175.

 

These results were from a pool of 3,403 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.48 percent.

 

42 of those positives were PCR tests, and 57 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

·         Bottineau Couny – 1  

·         Bowman County – 3  

·         Burleigh County – 11 

·         Cass County – 29 

·         Grand Forks County – 9 

·         LaMoure County – 1  

·         McKenzie County – 1  

·         McLean County – 3  

·         Mercer County – 2  

·         Morton County – 2 

·         Mountrail County – 1  

·         Nelson County – 1  

·         Pembina County – 4 

·         Pierce County – 1   

·         Ramsey County – 2   

·         Richland County – 1 

·         Rolette County – 5  

·         Stark County – 3 

·         Stutsman County – 4  

·         Traill County – 1  

·         Walsh County – 2  

·         Ward County – 4  

·         Williams County – 7 

 

1,563,458 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 398,035 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

37 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 101 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 96,014. This leaves 734 active confirmed cases.
