Zahra Hankir ~ Gateway to Science

Tuesday, August 13, 2019 – Zahra Hankir is a Lebanese-British journalist who writes about the intersection of politics, culture, and society in the Middle East. She has compiled essays from nineteen Arab female journalists in a collection titled “Our Women on the Ground: Essays by Arab Women Reporting from the Arab World.” ~~~ Chuck Lura shares a Natural North Dakota essay on plants that are part of the members of the Apiaceae family, also known as the carrot or parsley family. ~~~ We get an update on the goings-on at the Gateway to Science in Bismarck from Beth Demke, executive director.
