141 new individuals from 20 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 5,876.

 

The results were from a pool of 4,718 tests for a daily positive rate of 3 percent.

124 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 5,736.

 

The results were from a pool of 4,181 tests for a daily positive rate of 3 percent.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

Two more individuals have passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 99.

The patients were a man in his 80s from Williams County, and a man in his 50s from McIntosh County. They both had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 124 new individuals from 29 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the state, bringing the new statewide positive total to 5,614. These results were from a pool of 4,664 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.7 percent.

One more North Dakotan has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 97.

The patient was a man in his 70s with underlying health conditions. He was from Burleigh County.

Additionally, 128 new individuals from 21 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in North Dakota. The total number of people who have tested positive since the pandemic began is 5,493. These results are from a pool of 4,318 tests for a daily positive rate of 3 percent.

Burgum: no statewide mask mandate at this time

Governor Doug Burgum says at this time, he will not be issuing a statewide mask mandate in North Dakota.

But Burgum says he does believe masks work, and that the more people wearing them the better.

Burgum says a statewide mandate may be difficult to enforce, and it may also be complicated to determine who could be exempt from such a mandate. But he says individual businesses and people making the decision to wear masks is a positive step that goes a long way in slowing the spread of COVID-19.

ND COVID-19: 2 new deaths, 160 new cases detected

Two more individuals have passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 96.

The patients were a man in his 70s from Burleigh County and a woman in her 90s from Cass County. They both had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 160 new individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 5,367. These results were from a pool of 4,259 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.8 percent.

Another North Dakotan has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 94.

The patient was a woman in her 90s from Cass County. She had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 82 new individuals from 20 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 5,207. These results were from a pool of 3,739 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.2 percent.

Additionally, 113 individuals from 20 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. These results were from a pool of 5,533 tests for a daily positive rate of 2 percent. The new statewide positive total is 5,019.
