Fleetwood Mac

David Glimour, Bill Wyman, Steven Tyler and Fargo's own Jonny Lang are set to join Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie at the Palladium in London in February for an all-star tribute to early Fleetwood Mac guitarist and singer Peter Green. The man behind the original "Black Magic Woman" before Santana had a hit with it, "Man of the World," the instrumental "Albatross" and more, was a dominating blues guitarist in the late 60's, earning praise, especially for his tone, from BB King and Eric Clapton. Green left Fleetwood Mac in 1970 after a bad acid trip in Germany and has struggled with mental health issues ever since. The siblings who made Liam and Noel Gallagher blush, the famously feuding Robinson Brothers have buried the hatchet and are readying a massive Black Crowes reunion tour next summer! And Fat Possum Records is set to put out a tribute record to late jazz singer and pianist Mose Allison later this month, featuring Iggy Pop, Finoa Apple, Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt, Elvis Costello, Frank Black, Dave Alvin and more.
