Agriculture is big business in north Dakota. The nd.gov website shows 90 percent of the state's total land area is used for ag. Understanding soil health is critical for any successful farmer. Testing the soil can mean driving or walking from point to point. UND student Aaron Kempfert wants to use drones to speed up the process.  He’s a senior studying mechanical engineering. He recently presented at a student design expo at UND’s College of Engineering and Mines. He visited with Main Street’s Ashley Thornberg.
