Wednesday, September 16 - A new program starts this weekend on Prairie Public. Live Wire Radio is a variety show including comedy, guest interviews, and musical performances. It revels in the quirky local character of Portland, Oregon, where it originates. Joining us is the host, Luke Burbank. ~~~ Tom Isern shares a musical Plains Folk essay, "The Farmer is the Man." ~~~ Chuck Lura is here for Natural North Dakota episode about crickets. ~~~ We replay a Native American Hall of Honor profile from 2017 as we remember former UTTC president David Gipp, who passed away this week.
