Bill Lowman: 35th Annual Dakota Cowboy Poetry Gathering

Since 1987, cowboy poets have met at the Dakota Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Medora, North Dakota. This year, the gathering is celebrating its 35th anniversary over Memorial Day weekend.

The founder of the event, North Dakota poet Bill Lowman, spoke with Tom Brosseau about this year's gathering, which includes performances from regional musicians and poets. Listen above.
